History of the Auberge des Montauds

Family farm built in the middle of the Vercors Massif, the building became a nursery, and was transformed in 1972 into a very pretty inn. 

It’s a family affair that welcomes you to an authentic and warm establishment. It is the surrounding nature that influenced the decoration of this mountain-inspired building.

Common areas and relaxation

Enjoy, during your stay, comfortable common spaces. Spend pleasant, friendly moments in the living room, equipped with sofas and armchairs, which encourage discussion and relaxation. 

Outside the hotel, you can sit on the large terrace, to have breakfast for example!

Tasty dishes at the restaurant

Romain, the chef, offers you traditional, French, quality cuisine, in the hotel restaurant. In a warm and cozy atmosphere, enjoy fresh products coming, as much as possible, from short circuits. 

The restaurant menu changes every month, to continually guarantee you flavor, delicacy, variety and pleasure! 

In fine weather, you can enjoy the terrace, and appreciate the mild climate.

Breakfast in the Vercors

Every morning, between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., the Auberge des Montauds offers you a complete and varied breakfast. In the form of a buffet, many sweet and savory products are at your disposal.

The fruit salad and jams are homemade. The honey and the cheese come from local productions. You can also enjoy good breads, cereals, hot drinks and fruit juices.

In our charming hotel at the foot of the Vercors slopes, benefit from 2-star services throughout your stopover. 

A ample parking is available to you free of charge. A garage is accessible for your bicycles and your motorcycles. A WIFI connection is available in the hotel, using a 4G key. In addition, you can enjoy a game of pétanque during your stay, on our boulodrome.

We are equipped to host your private and professional events. You can privatize the Inn and/or the restaurant for your birthdays, seminars, weddings, etc. Do not hesitate to contact us and ask us for a quote for all your events, we will be delighted to assist you in organizing them.

Picnic in nature

By booking the day before at reception, you can benefit from a take-away picnic basket. No need to worry about meals when you go hiking! 

The basket consists of a sandwich, a fruit, a bottle of water and a pack of chips, and is offered to you at the price of €9.50.
