Summer and winter, your stay at the Auberge des Montauds is an opportunity to discover many activities. Outdoors, in leisure areas, or on the slopes of the surrounding ski areas, you will certainly find something to occupy your vacation, and delight the whole family.

Things to do at the Inn

Take the time to take a break at the Auberge des Montauds. Between two days exploring the region, enjoy the calm of your hotel in the Vercors. 

In summer, you can take amoments of nap on the lawn, or share a game of pétanque on the field behind the establishment. swings and other outdoor games are available for children. Something to delight young and old during your days at the Auberge des Montauds.

Family activities

The village of Villard-de-Lans offers many activities to do with the family!

A leisure area is at your disposal, and guarantees you memorable moments at the hotel in the Vercors. For example, you can have fun in the fun aquatic center, play a game of bowling, or work out in an area with trampolines and foam traps. Racquet sports enthusiasts also have their playground: tennis courts!

In any season, you can go to the farms around your hotel in the Vercors, to discover the farms, and buy the products that come from them .

Cross-country ski trails

L'Auberge des Montauds is a hotel at the foot of the slopes in Villard de Lans. From your accommodation, you will have easy access to numerous cross-country ski trails, and will be able to enjoy the magnificent landscapes that your skiing sessions will offer you. Amateur or initiated into cross-country skiing, the trails adapt to you and your expectations!

Alpine ski slopes

15 minutes from our establishment is the Villard-Corrençon ski area. A shuttle is available to take you to the area, made up of 36 slopes for all levels. Something to satisfy amateurs and experienced skiers! You can also do snowshoe hikes there, to enjoy the landscape!

For our visitors who bring their ski equipment, a closed room is at your disposal to store and dry your skis, helmets and poles. 

Hikes departing from the Inn

In the summer season, the Monts du Vercors also offer breathtaking panoramas. The Auberge des Montauds is an excellent base for hiking. On foot, on horseback, or even with a donkey, discover the landscapes and nature of the region, taking the most beautiful trails!

Mountain bike routes

There are many mountain bike trails accessible near your hotel in the Vercors. Take for example the Colline des Bains circuit, the Bois Barbu, or the High Plateaux circuit. Marked and secure, they promise you beautiful walks and dream settings! 

A room is at your disposal at the hotel to charge your bicycle battery, and you can clean it when you return to the Auberge des Montauds, thanks to a dedicated water point.
